Last Saturday we went to the fair near here. Why we ever thought that going to the fair would be fun in 100 degree weather, I will never know. We did try to make the best of it. I loved visiting the competition building and seeing the photo competition entries. My goal is to do this next year. Hopefully that goal will help me take my learning more seriously. As part of our short trip we let the kids each ride one ride. Brianna and
Arick rode a Superman-style ride and they had a great time. Ty was too little so he decided to ride a pony. He loved it too! With one ride each and some yummy fair food (gotta have my gyro!) we left the fair. Hopefully next year we can enjoy the fair a lot more. This heat wave/drought is such a bother!

Awe! Ty is so cute on that pony! You can see how hot he was though! His face is all pink! Looks like a fun time was had anyway, in spite of the weather. Cute picture!
