What do ponytails and headbands have to do with this beautiful little girl pictured here? Well, our darling Ella got her little hands on a pair of scissors and decided to give herself a haircut. She cut out about a cup full of hair with a large section very close to the scalp. I can't bring myself to cut her hair really short so she will just have to wear head bands and ponytails for a long time.
So where did she get the idea to cut her hair? Let's just say that Ty will be getting his hair shaved bald (again!) tonight. He has learned a very important lesson of being a good example for his little sister. Ty is not very happy about having to go bald again. When I let him know he will get his shaved, he exclaimed "Aw Phooey!" Well said my little one, well said!

ahh she is so grown up. I am sorry about the haircut it is so hard.
Uh oh. They got to the scissors.
That's one of my biggest fears as a mother of toddlers.
I must say, though, that you've styled Ella's hair beautifully and I can't tell where she "took matters into her own hands".
Thank goodness for adorable (and ginormous) hair accessories.
Maybe her tiaras will cover things up, too.
BTW, I can't believe how grown up she's getting. Her hair (well, what's left of it) is so long. She's absolutely lovely.
You can't even tell! Hurrah for headbands!
Ella looks so much older in that picture.
I hope Ty learns his lesson, because I don't like it when you shave his hair off. He looks like a cancer patient.
