Last night we attended a neighborhood party. Part of the decor included a small animal pelt. When Ella saw it she said, "OH NO! Poor puppy." Gotta love kids!
She didn't need any help from us. She saw the fur and that it looked like a dog's fur and made her own conclusions from that. I was actually looking for a puppy when I heard her say it, but I realized what she meant when I saw that she was pointing at it. The lady next to me agreed with her.
Oh, what an adorable thing to say. And she is so absolutely precious.
On another note, thanks for commenting on my blog. I think I might pick up photography. I did take a course in college and loved it. Hmm... but I'd need a studio. Or a way to finagle the lighting and use sheets as a backdrop. Any suggestions?
Oh, and re: memories, Thank you for your lovely comments. I really had no idea, but am so glad you aren't lonely anymore.
And here's a list of my favorite memories of you:
Eating Apricot Chicken and Edamame at your house. First time for me for both. And you shared your Apricot Chicken recipe, it's actually Matt's favorite. That touch of curry was truly an inspiration.
You being the queen of grocery shopping. They actually pay you for the groceries. So cool.
Stamp parties. Making beautiful cards together. And bookmarks. So fun.
